Cristina Dunahoo, LPC, CAADC
Licensed Professional Counselor · Founder, The CENTER for Wellbeing
Partner Practice

Trauma-informed therapist serving adults and families in English, Spanish, and Romanian. EMDR-trained, with deep experience in trauma and ACEs, substance use, perinatal & postpartum mental health, and anger management.
I believe healing happens in relationship — in the safety of being truly seen, heard, and understood without judgment. My approach is trauma-informed and collaborative: we move at your pace, honor your story, and build the tools you need to feel steadier in your daily life.
I work with adults and families navigating trauma and adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), substance use and recovery, perinatal and postpartum mental health, anxiety, depression, and anger management. I bring EMDR, CBT, and DBT into our work as they fit your goals, and I draw from years of experience supporting people through some of life's hardest chapters.
As the founder of The CENTER for Wellbeing, a trauma-informed non-profit practice, I'm committed to making quality mental health care accessible — including for those who need free or reduced-cost options. I see clients in English, Spanish, and Romanian, and I partner with Parkview Counseling to offer in-person sessions at the Wyoming, MI location.
