Getting here from Grand Rapids
Grand Rapids clients often tell us they wanted care that wasn't attached to a hospital system or a large group practice with a rotating intake queue. Parkview is six clinicians in one suite; the person you talk to about scheduling is the person who knows your file, and you see the same therapist every week.
The work we're asked for from the city itself spans widely: professionals carrying chronic work stress, couples doing communication and trust repair, adults getting an ADHD picture for the first time in their thirties or forties, and trauma work with EMDR. We also see healthcare workers, ministry leaders, and first responders — people whose jobs make the standard 9-to-5 therapy hour hard to hold.
Being just outside the city has a practical upside worth naming: no downtown parking structure, no meter, no circling. You park in the lot and walk in.
From downtown or the southwest side, US-131 south to the 44th Street exit puts you a couple of minutes from our door — the same route most of our Grand Rapids clients use.
Drive time: About 15 minutes from downtown Grand Rapids straight down US-131, and less from the southwest neighborhoods.
Parking: a large lot serves the building at 1428 44th Street SW, and our suite entrance is on the top floor.
